Al Ruschhaupt Park
conduit architecture+design designed the new park pavilion, concession stand, and restrooms to replace the existing outdated restroom building at Al Ruschhaupt Soccer Complex in McKinney, Texas. Conduit worked closely with Kimley-Horn to design a structure that would fit with the site and landscape design. The large pavilion roof structure provides much needed shade over new terraced seating. The columns playfully spread to catch the tongue and v-groove wood roof deck. The Lueders stone box neatly houses the new restrooms and concessions. This structure provides a fresh, new identity for a well used soccer complex in the heart of McKinney.
Al Ruschhaupt Park was completed in the summer of 2021.
