Modern Farmhouse

Located on a spacious plot of land in Fairview, Texas, this location was ideal for a growing family. The 1,300 sf, one story, dated ranch house was another story. The challenge was taking the bones and footprint of the ranch house and turning it into a comfortable 3,600 sf, two story modern farmhouse. Large windows and  a neutral color pallet brings light into all spaces of the house. The reuse of some existing elements plus creative use of reclaimed materials, adds a cost effective and warmth to the house.
